| Over 3000
people showed up for the Bastille Day celebration. The center of attention were the 10 petanque courts. For practical
purposes, participation in the tournament had to be limited to 40 teams of 3 players
(though many more wanted to join in!). An unforgettable experience for all present.
We at Petanque America want to thank the
dynamic owners and staff of Bar Tabac for their spotless organization and
the South Brooklyn Development Corporation (SBLDC) for their tremendous
co-operation. The street had to be closed off, buses rerouted!
And thanks to everyone who came to the party.
We already look forward to next year!
